Terms of Use for the Website Builder Tool
1. Scope of the Terms
These terms supplement Nida Verkkopalvelu's general terms for services where the customer has ordered a paid website builder-based service from Nida Verkkopalvelu, such as Magento, Zen Cart, Joomla, WordPress solutions, or a custom PHP-based website.
2. Free Trial Period
If the customer orders a website builder as a self-service from demo.nida.fi, the service includes a 14-day free trial period.
After the free trial, to continue using the service, the customer must order a license according to the website builder instructions.
The trial period does not apply to customized projects or services implemented based on separate requests for proposals.
3. Copyrights of the Website Builder
The copyrights of the website builder and its components, such as graphic elements, templates, and code, belong to Nida Verkkopalvelu.
The customer only receives a license to use the system on Nida Verkkopalvelu's servers as agreed.
The customer is not entitled to save websites in HTML format, transfer them to third-party servers, or copy the website builder or its elements.
4. Content Stored by the Customer
Copyright for material stored by the customer in the website builder system does not transfer to Nida Verkkopalvelu.
The customer grants Nida Verkkopalvelu an irrevocable right to use all material stored in the service for the implementation of the services ordered by the customer.
The customer is responsible for all material they store in the website builder system, including texts, images, videos, templates, and other content.
In case of copyright infringements, the customer agrees to defend Nida Verkkopalvelu at their own expense if claims relate to material stored in the customer's system.
5. Backup
Backups of websites maintained in the website builder are taken daily and stored for at least seven (7) days.
If restoration is needed due to the customer's own error, a fee according to the price list may apply.
The customer is responsible for backing up emails and other external systems themselves.
6. Exchange and Refund Rights
For website builder service orders, the customer has a 14-day full exchange and refund right.
7. Other Terms
If the customer offers e-commerce or other sales on their website, Nida Verkkopalvelu is not responsible for product pricing, delivery, invoicing, returns, or any other customer business-related responsibilities or costs.
Nida Verkkopalvelu has the right to suspend the website if it is used for illegal purposes, if the terms are substantially violated, or if license terms are breached.
Nida Verkkopalvelu has the right to use the customer as a reference unless otherwise agreed in writing.
